RESTorative Yoga

An exceptionally soothing and stress-relieving form of yoga, characterised by an extended amount of time in each posture. During these sessions, we receive ample support from props like blankets, bolsters, cushions, and yoga blocks, allowing the body to luxuriate in stillness while emphasising health, wellness, and longevity. It's not about striving or stretching but rather about allowing the mind and body to effortlessly unwind.

In our tranquil and restorative sessions, in person or online via ZOOM, I will guide you in creating positions of supreme comfort and relaxation, enabling you to deeply rest.

While physical exertion is minimal during this practice, it doesn't mean nothing is happening. On the contrary, there's a lot occurring beneath the surface—your heart continues its steady rhythm, your breath flows in and out harmoniously, and your nervous system gently shifts away from quick reactions. Meanwhile, the tight grip of racing thoughts begins to loosen, and any anxious feelings gradually subside. Restorative Yoga truly offers a profound physical and emotional experience.

Slow Yoga

Join our morning yoga classes, rooted in the foundational principles of Hatha yoga and mindfulness. Each class has a unique theme, focusing on stability, mobility, cultivating optimal breathing techniques, and fostering mindfulness—a practice that seamlessly integrates into your daily life and interactions with the world and others.

Our friendly group meets online via ZOOM every Monday and Thursday morning at 9am, to dedicate 45 minutes to this enriching practice. Whether you're a beginner eager to explore or a returning enthusiast seeking like-minded individuals, you're warmly invited to join our welcoming online community.
